Gooruf CEO Federico Morgantini at SFF2018

Gooruf had the honor of covering the two biggest Asian FinTech events in 2018, keenly participating in both multi-day programs as media partners expressly invited by Finnovasia (HK) and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (SG).

Hong Kong FinTech Week 2018 took place in Wanchai’s HKCEC back in October, drawing an exciting roster of companies ranging from dynamic startups as Kristal.AI to emerging household names in the crypto space as R3. The last day of HKFTW2018 moved to Shenzhen, where Tencent — among other Chinese giants as WeBank and Zhong An — opened the doors of their headquarters to attendees.

With over 250 speakers, 400 exhibiting companies from over 100 countries, 16 country pavilions and close to 45,000 participants from 130 countries — ranging from Afghanistan to Zambia — Singapore Fintech Festival 2018 was equally impressive, taking the financial hub of South East Asia by storm in mid-November.

Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde and MAS Managing Director Ravi Menon were among among other esteemed speakers at the highly international conference.

If you missed SFF2018, don’t worry — Gooruf brings you inside the Festival:
